Multiload:
The Teradata MultiLoad utility provides an efficient facility for dealing with high-volume batch maintenance of large databases under control of the Teradata Relational Database Management System (RDBMS). It consists of optimized client and RDBMS operations that enable rapid acquisition of data from the client with low processor utilization and very rapid block-level application of data tables on the Teradata RDBMS.
One main difference to the Teradata Fastload utility is that Multiload allows data to be loaded into already populated tables.
